A few days ago I attended the launch of Bx+ Library in the Auditorium of the Mexican Stock Exchange, with its first book "Study, Work and Safe it's not enough ... Invest in the stock market" written by Carlos Ponce...

Bx+ is a mexican financial group, and it not only focus in finance, investments and reports, it's social responsable, so it has many social asociations as partners and this time the royalties of the book are going to be donated.

Carlos Ponce is CEO stock market analysis and strategy of Group Bx+, Financial columnist in several newspapers and magazines, BA in Accounting and my professor in equity invesment business course this semester.

So it was amazing, the book is about equity investment, something that everyone has to do and Carlos Ponce has a simple way to teach it, so you can open the book in any page and understand what he is talking about

Hace algunos días asistí al lanzamiento de la Biblioteca Bx+ en el auditorio de la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, con su primer libro "Estudiar, Trabajar y Ahorrar no es suficiente ... ¡Invierte en Bolsa! escrito por Carlos Ponce...

Bx+ es un grupo financiero mexicano, y no solo se enfoca en finanzas, inversiones y reportes, es socialmente responsable, así que trabaja de la mano de algunas asociaciones civiles y en esta ocasión las regalias del libro serán donadas.

Carlos Ponce es Director Ejecutivo de Análisis y Estrategia Burstil del Grupo Bx+, Columnista financiero en varios periodicos y revistas, Licenciado en Contaduría y mi profesor de la asignatura empresarial Inversión Patrimonial de éste semestre.

Así que fue asombroso, el tema del libro es acerca de invertir en tu patrimonio, algo que todos debemos hacer y Carlos Ponce tiene una manera simple de enseñarlo, entonces puedes abrir el libro en cualquier pagina y entender de que esta hablando.

I feel like a Superhero!

 

A few days ago I attend to "Cost Knowledge Marathon" representing a team of my faculty (FCA-UNAM), we did study since the semester begin, but even we were in the best places, we couldn't achieve our goal (1st place), the truth is I was kind of sad, but I really met nice people, smart one, who became new friends and not just partners, so I am happy for that, because we learned a lot, in knowledge and experience :)

As you should know I'm a huge fan of superheros: my coat is my cape, like Ian McKellen in his role as Magneto (X-Men), that was the outfit for the marathon... But the news are just arriving... I'm very very excited...

...I just finished my 5th semester and now...

 

Hace algunos días participé en el "Maratón de Conocimientos de Costos" representando un equipo de mi facultad (FCA-UNAM), estudiamos desde que el semestre comenzo y, aunque estuvimos en los mejores lugares, no conseguimos nuestro objetivo (1° Lugar), la verdad estoy algo triste, pero en realidad conocí a grandes personas y muy inteligentes, quiene se convirtieron en amigos y no solo compañeros, aspi que estoy feliz por eso, porque aprendimos bastante, en conocimiento y vivencias :)

 

Como ya deben saber soy fan total de los Superhéroes: mi abrigo es mi capa, como Ian McKellen en su papel de Magneto (X-Men), ese fue mi outfit para el maratón... Pero las noticias apenas llegan... Estoy muy, pero muy emocionado...

 

Acabo de finalizar mi 5° semestre y ahora...

 

I'll be an exchange student!!! I will travel to "Universidad Santo Tomás" in Bogotá, Colombia for my next (6th) semester, and that's not all... I will also be in the "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" for my 7th semester, it's awesome! I did learn a lot this year and the next one will be AMAZING!!!

 

Seré un alumno de intercambio!!! Viajaré a la "Universidad Santo Tomás" en Bogotá, Colombia para mi proximo (6°) semestre , y eso no es todo... También estaré en "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" para mi 7° semestre, es grandioso! Aprendí muchisimo este año y el siguiente será ASOMBROSO!!!

 Last week I visited the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) and it was an awesome experience!!!

 

I really love finance, of course it has its founds in the BMV, everything its doing there is interesting and I feel passion when I think about it. BMV started to operate in the actual building in 1990 and the operation was verbal until 1999, in the same way you can see it in movies about Wall St., in fact, I've been always relating style with Wall St., you know: Black suit, white shirt, a great tie!

 

It's all about stock, but in many differents ways, everyone needs specific skills and knowledge. I'm in my journey to discover what's mine, but I'm sure it has to be something daring, my socks can prove it :)

 

La semana pasada visité la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) y fue una experiencia asombrosa!!!

 

Me encantan las finanzas, por supuesto eso tiene sus fundamentos en la BMV, todo lo que ahí se hace es interesante y me apasiono tan solo de pensarlo. BMV comenzó sus operaciones en el edificio actual en 1990 y se efectuaron operaciones verbales hasta 1999, así como se ve en las peliculas de Wall Street, de hecho siempre he relacionado estilo con Wall Street, ya saben: traje negro, camisa blanca y una corbata genial!

 

Todo es acerca de valores, pero de tantas formas diferentes, cada una necesita habilidades y conocimientos específicos. Estoy en mi camino para descubrir los mios, pero estoy seguro que debe ser algo atrevido, mis calcetines pueden probarlo :)

Rehearshing for Graduate

Some days ago I attend to a Graduation Party for a master degree :) As you should known I love these kind of party because of the formal dresscode, for this time I wear a Total Blue Outfit: Navy blue suit + Light blue shirt + Blue bow-tie.

 

Also, I'd been practicing my dacin' moves and there allways plays a specifically combo of songs in every party, so I think I dance better and better in everyparty :P or it's just probably my imagination jeje anyway, the truth is this kind of party make me imagine how my graduation will be, I know I'm on the middle of my University studies, but I like to think about it, even so about what and where will I study after :D

 

Hace algunos días asistí a una fiesta de graduación de una maestría :) Como ya sabrán, me encantan este tipo de fiestas por la vestimenta formal que hay usar, para esta ocasión escogí un Total Blue Outfit: Traje Azul Marino + Camisa Azul Cielo + Pajarita(Moño) Azul.

 

Además, he estado practicando mis pasos de baile y como siempre ponen un segmento con las mismas canciones en las fiestas, cada vez bailo mejor :P o talvez solo sea mi imaginación jeje como sea, la verdad es que este tipo de fiestas me ponen a pensar como será mi graduación, ya se que a penas estoy a la mitad de mis estudios universitarios, pero me gusta pensarlo, ademas de que y donde estudiaré despues :D

Orange Regina

I'm still with the heavy end of semester, even I sleep the same time as always, I'm dying of sleep, but that is no sttoping me to go out and celebrate with friends (for now jeje)

A friend has a restaurant-bar called "Regina" on the Regina's street, downtown, I like what the government did to this street some years ago, but it was a great idea and make it area with restaurants and bars, It has a lot of nightlife.

Well, it was my friend's birthday and he celebrated in his bar, I wason my way to the bar when I saw the graffiti, so I took these pics, just opposite the Sor Juana's Cloister, the truth is that downtown has so many incredible places,

My outfit for the party is a little bit unnusual on me: Black. Jeans, blazer and sneakers, all in black color, the color was adding in orange in my t-shirt, I like it neck's cut, although most of my friends are fascinated by the circle of the zodiacal signs, do not know why, anyway.

When I was viewing the pics i was the words "Mexico City 2012" just for the record :P

Y sigo con lo pesado del fin de semestre, aunque duermo el mismo tiempo que siempre, muero de sueño, pero eso no es impedimento para salir a festejar a los amigos (por ahora jeje)

Un amigo tiene un restaurante-bar llamado "Regina" en la calle de Regina, en el centro histórico, como me gusta lo que le hicieron a esta calle, ya tiene algunos años, pero fue una gran idea hacerla peatonal y zona de restaurantes y bares, bastante animada la vida nocturna.

Pues bien, que fue su cumple y lo festejó en su bar, iba caminando hacia allá cuando vi el graffiti, así aproveché para tomarme estas fotos, justo frente al Claustro de Sor Juana, la verdad es que todo el centro tiene tantos lugares increibles,

Para la fiesta usé algo que no uso tanto: Negro. Jeans, saco y tenis negros, añadiendole color con mi playera naranja, lo que me gusta de la playera es el corte del cuello, aunque a casi todos mis amigos les fascina el circulo que tiene de los signos zodiacales, no se por que, en fin.

Al revisar las fotos vi que en algunas esta la leyenda "Mexico City 2012" para que quede registro :P
