Minimalism

The heaviest days of the semester are about to start, well, this is a heavy semester already. I've been wanting to do a great performance this semester and I'm signed in a pair of specific sucjects, so this is enhancing my passion for finance, I can spend hours talking and analysing finance topics, and I'm learning a lot.

 

Even I just finish a pair of big project, there are the last weeks of the semester and that's why I want to keep my style simple but cool, and as you know I have a dresscode in my work so for today I'm showing you this elegant, simple and kind-of-casual outfit without all the accesories in order to create something minimalistic.

 

Estan por comenzar los días mas pesados del semestre, bueno, este semestre ya lo es. He querido tener un gran desesmpeño este semestre, así que estoy inscrito en un par de materias específicas, y por eso mi pasión por las finanzas va en incremento, de verdad puedo pasar horas hablando y analizando temas de finanzas, y estoy aprendiendo muchísimo.

 

Aunque acabo de terminar con un plan de proyectos importantes, ya vienen las ultimas semanas del semestre y es por eso que quiero mantener mi estilo simple pero fresco, y como saben tengo un código de vestimenta en mi trabajo asi que para hoy les muestro este atuendo elgante, simple y un poco casual sin todos los accesorios para crear algo minimalista.

¡¡¡VIVA MÉXICO!!!

September 15th (and 16th), mexicans celebrate Independence day's Aniversary, it's a very special day :) and it's the perfect time to spend with family. My grandmom made a tipical dish: "Pozole, wich is made with corn grains and pork meat, it was delicious! you can see it in the next pic, also we drank a little pot of mezcal and a jar of beer (apple flavored with chamoy). The next topic of the the celebreation, after the dinner, was drink some Tequila, finishing with the traditional "Grito de Dolores" wich is when the President go out presidential balcon in front of the main square (named Zócalo) and scream in honor national heroes and the homeland.

My outfit resembles mexican ranchers, with the most resistant and basic clothes: jeans and white shirt; with very special accesories: a pair of boots and tricolored bow-tie. I'm so proud to be mexican and to have all this traditions when I scream out loud ¡VIVA MÉXICO!

15 (y 16) de Septiembre es el día en que los mexicanos celebramos el Aniversario del Inicio de la Independencia, es un día muy especial :) y la ocasión perfecta para estar con la familia. Mi abuelita cocino un platillo típico: "Pozole", que esta hecho con granos de maíz y carne de cerdo, estaba delicioso! Pueden verlo en la foto de aqui abajo, también bebimos un jarrito de Mezcal y un tarro de cerveza (sabor manzana con chamoy). El siguiente paso de la celebración fue beber algo de Tequila, para terminar con el tradicional "Grito de Dolores" que hace el Presidente en el balcón presidencial frente al Zócalo (la plaza principal) y grita en honor de los heroés nacionales y la patria.

Mi outfit se asemeja a los rancheros mexicanos, con las prendas más resistentes y básicas: jeans y cámisa blanca; en conjunto con accesorios muy especiales: un par de botas y moño (pajarita) tricolor. Estoy muy orgulloso de ser mexicano y tener estas tradiciones cuando grito fuerte ¡VIVA MÉXICO!

Preppy School

Fashion is equals a lot of fun!!! The truth is my favorites outfits are those not planned I just chose clothe by clothe and at the end the right accesories, for this day at school I wear a basic outfit (jeans + white t-shirt) and my blazer shows up on my wardrove, I thought "It would look nice" and that's it!

For this semester I bought this gray bag, I'm a fan of gray bags, I don't like so much color on it, and it's perfect because it combines with everything, that's what I say "Fashion is equals a lot of fun", you have to play with your outfits and the accesories and enjoy the process ;)

 

La moda es divertida!!! La verdad es que mis outfits favoritos son los que no se planean solo escoges prenda por prenda y al final el accesorio correcto, para este día de escuela traía un atuendo basico (jeans + playera blanca) y mi blazer se mostró de repente en mi armario, pensé "Se vería bien" y asi fue!

 

Para éste semestre compré esta maleta gris, soy fan de las maletas y bolsas grises, sin tanto color, es perfecto porque combina con todo, por eso digo "La moda es divertida", Tienes que jugar con tus outfits y los accesorios disfrutando el proceso ;)

Buzz B-day

I think shorts are kind of childish, that's the reason why i like it a lot, it make me feel like a child again and my imagination flies away. I like to have fun with my outfits, when I think in one and when I'm looking for clothes, it's an important part of choose an outfit: be happy!

This time was my nephew's birthday, he is really cute and he was dressed as Buzz Lightyear (as you should known from Toy Story), kid's party, so I decided to be childish with my outfit wearing (one of my basics: gray on the low and white on the top) my gray short, white shirt with sleeves rolled up, converse booties with white socks and purple bow-tie, everyone says that I looked like a big kid  xD

As many typical mexican kid's parties there was clowns, cake and piñatas, it was really funny to be there even I was "The DJ" (sucks) I don't known about children's songs and many grown ups ask for songs and they want that I play it in the precisely moment, don't they think there are some people expecting for their song too, do they? Anyway, a funny party!

Creo que los shorts son algo infantiles, y esa es la razón por la que me encantan, me hacen sentir como un niño de nuevo y mi imaginación vuela. Me gusta divertirme con mis outfits, cuando pienso en uno y cuando busco alguna prenda, es parte importante al elegir un atuendo: Estar alegre!

Esta vez fue el cumpleaño de mi sobrinito, el esta muy lindo y para esta ocasión lo disfrazaron de Buzz Lightyear (que deden conocer de Toy Story), como era una fiesta de niños quisé ser infantil en mi atuendo usando (uno de mis basicos: abajo gris y blanco arriba) mis shorts grises, camisa blanca arremangada, botines converse con calcetas blancas y pajarita/moño morado, todos me decían que parecía un niño grandote xD

Como varias fiestan infantiles mexicanas hubo payasos, pastel y piñatas, fue bastante divertido aunque me hicieran "DJ" (apesto) No se nada de cancione sinfantiles y los mayores piden canciones esperando que las toque en ese mismo instante, que no saben que hay mas personas esperando sus canciones, o si? De todas formas, una fiesta divertida!

Meeting with the Long-Necked

Sunny day at Mexico City!!! at least part of the day, but the chance to wear this DIY shorts, it had been in my closet for a long time, I wished it and when I looked for it at the stores: nothing, so I took a pair of formal pants and made it, then the rain season started :(

Gray is the new black (at least for me) I have few black clothes, and I love how this outfit look in total gray. The converse booties has other story :) it was love at first sight. The photos were taken in a park in front the mall, these long-necked became my friends at the end, they are so photogenic =D

That day I went to watch "The Amazing Spider-Man" and it was A M A Z I N G, I'm a huge fan of the arachnid since I have memory, and even the movies aren't exactly as the comic book, I'm very glad with the adaptation. I nearly cry on the last 15 minutes :'(

Totaly in love with the new Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy!!! I'm not going to tell you about the story of the movie, it's different from the last trilogy and it took elements from other comic books, you have to see it!!!

Día soleado en la Ciudad de México!!! al menos parte del día, pero tomé la oportunidad para usar estos shorts, los tenía guardados ya algo de tiempo. Deseaba tanto unos shorts así y cuando los fui a buscar a las tiendas no encontré nada, así que tomé unos pantalones formales y los hice, entonces la temporada de lluvias comenzó :(

Gris es el nuevo negro (al menos para mi) Tengo muy poca ropa negra. Me encantó como quedó este outfit en un total gray. Los botines converse tienen otra historia :) fue amor a primera vista. Las fotos fueron tomadas en un parque frente a la plaza, estos cuello largo se hicieron mis amigos al final, son tan fotogenicos =D

Ese día fui a ver "The Amazing Spider-Man" y fue S O R P R E N D E N T E, Soy gran fan del aracnido desde que tengo memoria, aunque las peliculas no son exactamente como en el comic, estoy bastante feliz con la adaptación. Casi lloro en los ultimos 15 minutos :'(

Me encanta el nuevo Peter Parker y Gwen Stacy!!! No les voy a contar acerca de la trama, es diferente a la trilogia anterior y toma elementos de otros comics (de Spider-Man) Tienen que verla!!!
