Happy New Year!!! Wow it was a exciting year closure ... in the year that just finished I visited amazing places ... I attended fun parties ... I was in important events ... I was for the first time in the Fashion Week ... I did extraordinary things ... started this blog ... and some of the most important is that I knew and recognized my family, friends and mentors, really, this year was full of great people who I never imagined would met, each one of them know that they are very special for a specific reason, plus they have my admiration ...

 

Feliz Año Nuevo!!! Vaya que fue un cierre de año bastante agitado... En el año que justo acaba de concluir visité lugares asombrosos... asistí a divertidísimas fiestas... estuve en eventos importantes y muy trascendentales... asistí por primera vez al Fashion Week... logré cosas extraordinarias... inició éste blog... y algo de lo mas importante es que conocí y reconocí a mi familia, amigos y mentores, de verdad que éste año estuvo lleno de grandes personas que jamas me hubiera imaginado conocería, todos y cada uno de ellos saben han, van y dejarán una huella en mi, ademas que tienen mi admiración...

 

 

Today I can look back and realize that big things happened, I can certainly say that, so far, has been the best year of my life, achievements were biggers and abundant opportunities, as I think "The opportunities are also in the seeking" and how true was this year, the road is full of opportunities and you just have to work a little hard to see them and fight for them...

 

Hoy puedo mirar atras y darme cuenta que pasaron grandes cosas, sin lugar a dudas puedo decir que, hasta ahora, ha sido el mejor año de mi vida, los logros fueron al por mayor y las oportunidades abundantes, como suelo pensar "Las oportunidades no solo se presentan, también se buscan" y cuan cierto fue éste año, el camino ha estado lleno de oportunidades y solo tíenes que esforzarte un poco para poder verlas y luchar por ellas...

 

 

The first day of 2013 was amazing, I went to a village near the city and had fun with great friends, ride a cicle, played gotcha and tasted delicious cecina (which is meat), as someone say that the first day defines your year, I think I definitely expected a year full of adventure ...

 

El primer día del 2013 fue asombroso, fui a un pueblito cerca de la ciudad a divertirme con grandes amigos, anduve en cuatrimoto, jugue gotcha y probé deliciosa cecina (que es carne), como dicen que el primer día define tu año, creo que definitivamente me espera un año lleno de aventura...

 

 

And for all those great people who filled my year of happiness, I can only wish them more happiness, love and extraordinary experiences that give emotion to life, I'm very thankfull for give me light at any time, and is thank to this light that I realize how important they are to me ...

 

En cuanto a todas esas grandiosas personas que llenaron mi año de felicidad, solo me queda desearles mucha mas felicidad, amor y experiencias extraordinaria que dan emoción a la vida, muchisimas gracias por darme luz en cualquier momento, ya que es esa luz la que me hace darme cuenta que tan importantes son para mi...

 

 

I just figured out that I won't be living with them this year, I will live in two different cities and there is lots of uncertainty about my routine ... is frightening to think that you leave many things aside, however, is that little scare which makes it exciting and adrenaline-filled life, I've been foughting for this opportunity and I make the most, I can certainly say that I'm one step less to become Sebastian on I want to be and right now I'm being the Sebastian I want to be 

Hace un momento me di cuenta que no estaré conviviendo con ellos éste año, viviré en dos ciudades distintas y existe muchisima incertidumbre en cuanto a mi rutina... es aterrador pensar que dejas muchas cosas de lado, sin embargo, es ese miedito el que hace emocionante y llena de adrenalina la vida, he luchado por ésta oportunidad y pienso aprovecharla al máximo, sin duda puedo decir que estoy a un paso menos de convertirme en el Sebastian que quiero ser y que justo ahora soy el Sebastian que quiero ser.

I feel like a Superhero!

 

A few days ago I attend to "Cost Knowledge Marathon" representing a team of my faculty (FCA-UNAM), we did study since the semester begin, but even we were in the best places, we couldn't achieve our goal (1st place), the truth is I was kind of sad, but I really met nice people, smart one, who became new friends and not just partners, so I am happy for that, because we learned a lot, in knowledge and experience :)

As you should know I'm a huge fan of superheros: my coat is my cape, like Ian McKellen in his role as Magneto (X-Men), that was the outfit for the marathon... But the news are just arriving... I'm very very excited...

...I just finished my 5th semester and now...

 

Hace algunos días participé en el "Maratón de Conocimientos de Costos" representando un equipo de mi facultad (FCA-UNAM), estudiamos desde que el semestre comenzo y, aunque estuvimos en los mejores lugares, no conseguimos nuestro objetivo (1° Lugar), la verdad estoy algo triste, pero en realidad conocí a grandes personas y muy inteligentes, quiene se convirtieron en amigos y no solo compañeros, aspi que estoy feliz por eso, porque aprendimos bastante, en conocimiento y vivencias :)

 

Como ya deben saber soy fan total de los Superhéroes: mi abrigo es mi capa, como Ian McKellen en su papel de Magneto (X-Men), ese fue mi outfit para el maratón... Pero las noticias apenas llegan... Estoy muy, pero muy emocionado...

 

Acabo de finalizar mi 5° semestre y ahora...

 

I'll be an exchange student!!! I will travel to "Universidad Santo Tomás" in Bogotá, Colombia for my next (6th) semester, and that's not all... I will also be in the "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" for my 7th semester, it's awesome! I did learn a lot this year and the next one will be AMAZING!!!

 

Seré un alumno de intercambio!!! Viajaré a la "Universidad Santo Tomás" en Bogotá, Colombia para mi proximo (6°) semestre , y eso no es todo... También estaré en "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" para mi 7° semestre, es grandioso! Aprendí muchisimo este año y el siguiente será ASOMBROSO!!!

TopTen (Bday)

Yesterday was my Birthday and I remeber that I used to say every November 17th "Today is my day, so I can wear whatever I want" and you know what? I have that thought on mind everyday of this year, and that's what results.

 

Ayer fue mi Cumpleaños y recuerdo que cada 17 de Noviembre solía pensar "Hoy es mi día, así que puedo vestirme como quiera" y saben que? He tenido ese pensamiento en mente todos los días de éste año, esto es el resultado.

Borgoña es un color en tendencia esta temporada, y de verdad me encanta, es por eso que me sorprendí tanto cuando esta playera me llegó. Un tío la envió desde EUA junto con otras prendas para mi familia.

 

Pienso en eso como importación, claro que la forma mas sencilla de conseguir ropa de tiendas que no estan en el país es a través de sus tiendas online, además que soy un frecuente usuario de éstas. Mis amigos siempre me preguntas si esto es seguro, mi respuesta siempre es SI!

Things to Come...

Well, as I told you on my last post my semester is begining and with this I decided to learn about other areas of my carrer on the laboral field so on the last days I've been having so many Job interviews.

For this post I'm showing you a pair of my very formal outfits, it's really important to have a Great and Sleek Image to cause the right impact on the interviews ;) Even so, it doesn't mean to be a clone, I like to add my personal style: Blue shirt + Pink Tie ... Mint tie (love the color) ... You can take advantage of one of the hatest men's accesories :)

I have some decisions to make and I'm very excited, there's a lot of things starting this semester, a lot of projects to conclude and so much more post to do jejeje. Thank you, bloggers, for all your comments, visits and followers, it's so great to feel your support :)

Bueno, pues como les había dicho en mi último post mi semestre esta comenzando y por eso decidí explorar en otras áreas de mi carrera en el campo laboral, y estos días eh tenido varias entrevistas.

Para hoy les dejo dos de mis mas formales atuendos, es realmente importante tener una buena e impecable imagen para causar la impresión correcta a los entrevistadores ;) Claro que eso no significa ser simplón, a mi me gusta añadirle mi toque personal: camisa azul + corbata rosa ... corbata Menta ... de verdad que se puede tomar ventaja de uno de los accesorios masculinos mas odiados :)

Tengo un montón de decisiones que tomar y eso me emociona mucho, hay tanto este semestre que comienza, tantos proyectos por concluir y muchos post por hacer jejeje. Muchas gracias, bloggers, por sus comentarios, visitas y followers, es genial sentir su apoyo:)

B&W Versace + Mumedi + New Cover!!!

We have new cover!!! It means a new stage in the blog (also in my life too). I'm very excited!! 

I have a lot to say, so let's get started:

First thing first: I'm very thankful with Pablo Parra from FUNGI EXPRESS, the author of the cover =D I love he added the phrase "Inspired Young Boy" ;) Thank you so much, Pablo, it's amazing!!!

I have to confess when I started the blog it was kind of improvisated beacause I only had my cell phone camera, only a few friends know how to use it and I wanted to start until I have one better, well, it didn't matter and the blog was been running with it, but now I have a  new camera, a good one (I wish proffesional xD, but not now) so in next post you will see the pics in a better resolution, and I hope pics I couldn't do with the old camera.

Estrenamos portada!!! Lo que significa una nueva etapa en el blog (y en mi vida tambien). Estoy muy emocionado!!

Tengo mucho que contarles, asi que comencemos:

Primero lo primero: Le debo la portaba a Pablo Para de FUNGI EXPRESS, autor de la misma =D Me encantó que pusiera la frase "Inspired Young Boy" ;) Muchisimas gracias, Pablo, esta increible!!!

Tengo que confesar que cuando inició el blog fue un tanto improvisado por que la única camara que tenía era la de mi celular, solo unos amigos sabian como usarla y queria comenzar el blog hasta que tuviera una mejor, bueno, no me importó y el blog ya lleva unos cuantos meses , pero ahora ya tengo camara nueva! una buena (aunque desearía que fuera una profesional xD, por ahora no) así que en el siguiente post veran las fotos con mejor resolución y espero hacer fotos que con el celular es imposible lograr

One more thing, today I want to talk you about Mumedi (Mexican Museum of Design). It's a store and café In Madero Street at Downtown. In the store allways are a lot of stuff for sale: books, bags, pencils, ties, rings, cloth, and more, and; in the café are exhibited  pieces of design, right now are posters of  "Dia de Muertos".

I ate "Wrap Azabache" made with huitlacoche (mexican mushroom) and acoyote beans, and a Quiche, the food is delicious!!

Una cosa mas, hoy les quiero contar de Mumedi (Museo Méxicano de Diseño) En realidad es una tienda y café ubicado en la calle de Madero en el Centro Historico. en la tienda siempre hay muchas piezas de diseño a la venta: libros, bolsas, plumas, corbatas, anillos, ropa y mucho mas; en el café se exhiben mas piezas, justo ahora estan varios posters con el tema "Dia de Muertos"

Comí un "Wrap Azabache" que esta hecho de huitlacoche (segun se es un hongo mexicano) con frijol acoyote (que tiene un saborcito ácido), acompañado de un Quiche, la comida esta deliciosa!!!
