I feel like a Superhero!

 

A few days ago I attend to "Cost Knowledge Marathon" representing a team of my faculty (FCA-UNAM), we did study since the semester begin, but even we were in the best places, we couldn't achieve our goal (1st place), the truth is I was kind of sad, but I really met nice people, smart one, who became new friends and not just partners, so I am happy for that, because we learned a lot, in knowledge and experience :)

As you should know I'm a huge fan of superheros: my coat is my cape, like Ian McKellen in his role as Magneto (X-Men), that was the outfit for the marathon... But the news are just arriving... I'm very very excited...

...I just finished my 5th semester and now...

 

Hace algunos días participé en el "Maratón de Conocimientos de Costos" representando un equipo de mi facultad (FCA-UNAM), estudiamos desde que el semestre comenzo y, aunque estuvimos en los mejores lugares, no conseguimos nuestro objetivo (1° Lugar), la verdad estoy algo triste, pero en realidad conocí a grandes personas y muy inteligentes, quiene se convirtieron en amigos y no solo compañeros, aspi que estoy feliz por eso, porque aprendimos bastante, en conocimiento y vivencias :)

 

Como ya deben saber soy fan total de los Superhéroes: mi abrigo es mi capa, como Ian McKellen en su papel de Magneto (X-Men), ese fue mi outfit para el maratón... Pero las noticias apenas llegan... Estoy muy, pero muy emocionado...

 

Acabo de finalizar mi 5° semestre y ahora...

 

I'll be an exchange student!!! I will travel to "Universidad Santo Tomás" in Bogotá, Colombia for my next (6th) semester, and that's not all... I will also be in the "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" for my 7th semester, it's awesome! I did learn a lot this year and the next one will be AMAZING!!!

 

Seré un alumno de intercambio!!! Viajaré a la "Universidad Santo Tomás" en Bogotá, Colombia para mi proximo (6°) semestre , y eso no es todo... También estaré en "University at Bufalo, The University State of New York" para mi 7° semestre, es grandioso! Aprendí muchisimo este año y el siguiente será ASOMBROSO!!!

ICU 2012

ICU - Before the challenge begin

Last friday I attend to the Integration of University Accountants (ICU for its acronym in Spanish), It was a series of team challenges, wich were randomly, so I can meet new colleages and have a lot of fun, a day to remember.

 

Here's the flag of my team, btw I was the captain :)

 

 

El pasado viernes asistí a la Integración de Contadores Universitarios (ICU), el cual fue una serie de desafios en equipo, los cuales fueron creados al azar, así que pude conocer nuevos colegas y divertirme bastante, un día para recordar.

Fast Clouds

I want to share a (kind of sci-fi) story I wrote for a contest about how is your style on your daily routine:

I’m an inspired young boy, fashion blogger, lover of design, comic collector, tax assistant, student at UNAM & cinephile.

That inspiration comes from sleeping awake and I see my life as a movie, soundtrack included, with so much action, unimaginable characters, being a superhero and saving the world ; perhaps that’s why my friends doesn’t know what I’m talking about, the think skynet, blackbird and identity disc as a new cellphones o songs’ names.

Every superhero has to have an alter-ego, mine is an Accounting (at least an assistant, meanwhile I’m studying), nobody suspect of someone who like numbers and laws as a nightwatcher, also I really care about my alter-ego, this week I have to do a Manual of "Process for the review and storage of tax receipts" ¡Boooring! (but truth is: I love it!)

That’s the reason I’m allways looking for some relaxed activities, and I shared on my blog named “MyTiger-Mx”, I try to use my posts to show how the seasons, trends and outfits, casual and vanguard alike, are using everywhere on the city like malls, parks, restaurants, school and many others.

Besides, the coolest of being a nightwatcher is all the technologies accessories, my last acquisition are some nanocams distribuited all along the city, and I can see what happen by a 3D projection, you have to known this a big responsibility.

I notice why my friends friends doesn’t know what I’m talking about, well, with a lot of tasks and activities on my schedule the time is only a simple factor, wich make feel like dreaming, until those dreams come true.

Les quiero compartir una historia (un poco de ciencia ficción) que escribí hace poco para un concurso de como plasmas tu estilo en tu rutina diaria:

Soy un joven inspirado, fashion blogger, amante del diseño, coleccionista de comics, becario en contabilidad fiscal, estudiante en la UNAM y cinéfilo.

Esa inspiración viene de soñar despierto y es que veo mi vida como una película, con soundtrack incluido, con tanta acción y personajes inimaginables, siendo superhéroe y salvando al mundo; tal vez por eso mis amigos en ocasiones no sepan de que les hablo, creen que Skynet, BlackBird e Identity Disc son nuevos celulares o nombres de canciones.

Para comenzar todo superhéroe debe tener un alter-ego, el mío es un Contador Fiscal (al menos aprendiz, mientras concluyo mis estudios), de verdad que nadie sospecharía que alguien a quien le gustan los números y las leyes pase las noches vigilando la ciudad, además que me aplico con mi alter-ego, simplemente esta semana tengo elaborar un “Manual de procedimientos para la revisión y almacenamiento de comprobantes fiscales” ¡que aburrido suena eso! (Pero la verdad es que me fascina!)

Por eso también busco actividades relajantes, las que comparto en mi blog llamado “MyTiger-Mx”, intento que mis post lo reflejan mostrando cómo las temporadas, tendencias y outfits casuales pero vanguardistas son usados por la ciudad en lugares comunes como plazas, restaurantes, el cine y otros tantos.

Aunque lo más interesante de ser un vigilante nocturno es que cuento con tecnología de punta, mi última adquisición son nanocams que al distribuirlas por toda la ciudad puedo ver que ocurre en cualquier punto por medio de una proyección 3D, además, tengo principios éticos y no ando espiando por ahí solo por placer, es un deber ante la sociedad

Creo que ahora entiendo porque mis amigos no siempre entienden de que les hablo, bueno, con actividades tan demandantes en donde el tiempo es solo una limitante a vencer, uno puede sentirse en sueños, claro, hasta que sean plasmados en la realidad.

Es cool ser un contador // Is cool being an acounter

"Being an acounter is cool" What else I can say if  I'm studying it
"Ser contador es Cool" Que mas puesdo decir si estoy estudiando eso

Well here some of my professional life, if I look like it or not, I'm studying Accounting,even I have passion about fashion and style, I like the accounting jeje, well, I did not choose this career for being cool, creative or funny.

At school a teacher asked us to do a video for a contest, and the theme is "Is cool being an acounter" - How? - So I gave the task of asking several colleagues, some said it wasn't cool, others didn't convince me, but it was my friend Marco who tell me so many things I forgotten, I remembered why I chose this career and why I like it.

Of course to do the video I had to appear in a formal outfit, which is how I dress everyday for work and also I really like formal outfit.

My outfit was a blue shirt with neck buttons, gray pants, a silver ring with black stripes, black tie with white stripes detail on the toe and perfectly shined black shoes, by the way all of my favorite clothes, well, I had to feel safe to record the video and broadcast around with all those gestures that do.

After all it was fun to record the video, here I show you some pictures of my outfit and the video for the contest, hope you like it, if so, I'll be thankfull if you give it LIKE in the fanpage of Deloitte Mexico (the organizers), as much as I'm thankfull with you for watch, comment and follow my blog, is very motivating.

Pues aqui algo de mi vida profesional, lo parezca o no, soy estudiante de Contaduria, así como soy de apasionado por la moda y todo, me gusta la contabilidad jeje, en fin, que no escogí esa carrera por ser cool, creativa o divertida.

En la escuela un profesor nos pidió que hicieramos un video para participar en un concurso, y el tema es "Lo cool de ser Contador" -¿Como?- Así que me dí a la tarea de preguntarles a varios compañeros, algunos decían que no era cool, otros no me convencían, pero fue mi amigo Marco quien me transmitió tantas cosas que había olvidado, recordé por que escogí esta carrera y por que me gusta.

Claro que para grabar el video tenía que aparecer con un atuendo formal, que es como me visto diario para el trabajo y ademas que me gusta mucho vestir formal, llevaba una camisa azul con botones en el cuello, un pantalon gris, un anillo plateado con rayas grises, corbata negra con un detalle de rayas blancas en la punta y zapatos negros perfectamente boleados; dicho sea de paso todas de mis prendas favoritas, bueno, tenia que sentirme seguro para grabar el video y trasmitir un poco con todos esos gestos que hago.

Despues de todo fue muy divertido grabar el video, aqui les dejo unas fotos de mi atuendo y al final el video con el que participamor en el concurso, espero les guste, de ser así, les agradería bastante si le dan LIKE en la fanpage de Deloitte México (los organizadores), tanto como les agradezo que vean, comenten y sigan mi blog, de verdad es muy motivante.
