Dye Downtown

Some days ago I went to downtown for a meeting with a good friend of mine (Alejandra) :) As I said before, downtown is one of my favorite places in the city.

We went to a buffette of delicious chinese food, Alejandra is just back from a tour in Europe and we talk about everything she saw, all the fabulous places she went and all the people she met, it was a very interesting talk.

The day was warm so I wear my newest (or renew) dye shorts with mao collar shirt and my-allways-comfortable espadrilles, and that's the way a like to take a walk along all downtown.

Hace unos cuantos días me quede de ver con una buena amiga (Alejandra) en el Centro Histórico :) Como ya he dicho, el Centro es uno de mis lugares favoritos en la ciudad.

Fuimos a un buffette con deliciosa comida china, Alejandra acaba de regresar de un viaje por Europa así que me contó de todo lo que vió, los geniales lugares a los que fue y toda la gente que conoció, fue una platica bastante interesante.

El día era cálido asi que me puse mis nuevos (o renovados) shorts decolorados junto con una camisa de cuello mao y mis-siempre-cómodas alpargatas, y así es como me gusta dar un paseo por todo el Centro Histórico.

Like the Heaven

"In storm season there's always a sunny day to enjoy."

It could be an analogy or a methaphor too, for now the sun shows up in mexican sky (even it's raining everyday) and I'm enjoying my last days without classes, so with free time to go out I like to wear something casual: denim shorts, espadrilles and this versatil shirt, for the prints it has on its inner side I can wear it in different ways :)

Podría ser una analogía o una metáfora también, por ahora el sol aparece en cielo mexican (aunque llueva todos los días). Estoy disfrutando de mis últimos días libre de clases, así que con tiempo libre para salir me gusta estar casual: shorts de mexclillla, alpargatas y esta camisa tan versatil, con los estampados que tienes en la parte interior puedo usarla de varias formas :)

Buzz B-day

I think shorts are kind of childish, that's the reason why i like it a lot, it make me feel like a child again and my imagination flies away. I like to have fun with my outfits, when I think in one and when I'm looking for clothes, it's an important part of choose an outfit: be happy!

This time was my nephew's birthday, he is really cute and he was dressed as Buzz Lightyear (as you should known from Toy Story), kid's party, so I decided to be childish with my outfit wearing (one of my basics: gray on the low and white on the top) my gray short, white shirt with sleeves rolled up, converse booties with white socks and purple bow-tie, everyone says that I looked like a big kid  xD

As many typical mexican kid's parties there was clowns, cake and piñatas, it was really funny to be there even I was "The DJ" (sucks) I don't known about children's songs and many grown ups ask for songs and they want that I play it in the precisely moment, don't they think there are some people expecting for their song too, do they? Anyway, a funny party!

Creo que los shorts son algo infantiles, y esa es la razón por la que me encantan, me hacen sentir como un niño de nuevo y mi imaginación vuela. Me gusta divertirme con mis outfits, cuando pienso en uno y cuando busco alguna prenda, es parte importante al elegir un atuendo: Estar alegre!

Esta vez fue el cumpleaño de mi sobrinito, el esta muy lindo y para esta ocasión lo disfrazaron de Buzz Lightyear (que deden conocer de Toy Story), como era una fiesta de niños quisé ser infantil en mi atuendo usando (uno de mis basicos: abajo gris y blanco arriba) mis shorts grises, camisa blanca arremangada, botines converse con calcetas blancas y pajarita/moño morado, todos me decían que parecía un niño grandote xD

Como varias fiestan infantiles mexicanas hubo payasos, pastel y piñatas, fue bastante divertido aunque me hicieran "DJ" (apesto) No se nada de cancione sinfantiles y los mayores piden canciones esperando que las toque en ese mismo instante, que no saben que hay mas personas esperando sus canciones, o si? De todas formas, una fiesta divertida!

Ethnic Print .:*:.

I just have a few black clothes, that's because I'm not fan of the black, so when I buy black clothes I chose it for the fit, the shape or the print. In this case it was choosen for the ethnic print and the shape. I really love its neck. The outfit was complemented with this military brown shorts, my  gray/black bootie converse and black socks.

I was having really relaxed days :) I've been able to update on my favorite TVseries (Glee and Grey's Anatomy), enjoyed Ice-Cream (I can't remeber when was the last time I ate it), share time with my family and have some rest. I allways have busy days, so when a relaxed day shows up it's time to take it!!! 

Tengo muy poca ropa negra, eso porque no soy fan del negro, así que cuando compro alguna prenga negra es por como me queda, por su forma o su estampado. en éste caso es por la forma y el estampado. Como me encanta el cuello de esta playera. El outfit esta compuesto también por estos shorts café militar, mis botines converse gris con negro y calcetines negros.

 He tenido unos cuantos días tranquilos :) Por fín me he actualizado con mis series favoritas (Glee y Grey's Anatomy), disfrutado de helado (no recuerdo cuando fue la ultima vez que comí helado), pasar tiempo con mi familia y descanzar. Siempre tengo días ocupados, así que cuando uno tranquilo se presenta es hora de aprovecharlo!!!
