Xochimilco

 

 

Hello!! it's been really hard days thanks to the end of the semester and I was really busy, so I owe you an apology for the absence. Before all this madness begin, I have a great day with some fellows at Xochimilco, a picturesque lake in the south of the city, with "trajineras" a tipical decorated boat of this region.

 

It's a very beautiful place to spend a whole day, unluckily it's kind of difficult to find it, even for us who live in Mexico City, but thanks to "Pymos" we could eat and travel by trajinera without any truble. Pymos it's a little company dedicated to organizing tours in Xochimilco. The day was started with delicious rotisserie chicken and steacks, then we travel on the lake, and as you can see in the pics everything for sale is by trajinera: flowers, pictures, souvenirs, even renting a music group.

 

If you come to visit Mexico City, Xochimilco is a must! and for enjoy its best you should call Cesar García (01-45) 55-2755-1567, from Pymos. You'll have a lot of fun, great food and watch amazing landscapes.

 

Hola! han sido días duros gracias al final de semestre, por lo que he estado bastante ocupado, así que les debo una disculpa por mi ausencia. Antes de toda esta locura comenzara, tuve un gran día con unos compañeros en Xochimilco, un pintoresco lago al sur de la ciudad, con "trajineras" que son unos botes decorados típicos de la región.

 

Es un hermoso lugar para pasar el día entero, desafortunadamente es un poco dificil de encontrarlo, incluso para los que vivimos aqui en la Ciudad de México, pero gracias a "Pymos", pudimos comer y viaja en trajinera sin ningún inconveniente. Pymos es una pequeña empresa dedicada a organizar recorridos por Xochimilco. El día comenzó con delicioso pollo rostizado y bisteces, despues el viaje por el lago, como pueden ver en las fotos todo lo venden en trajinera: flores, fotos, recuerdos, incluso puedes rentar un grupo musical.

 

Si vienen de visita a la ciudad de México, Xochimilco es un lugar obligado! y para disfrutarlo al máximo deberían llamar a Cesar García (01-45) 55-2755-1567, de Pymos. Tendrán mucha diversión, buenísima comida y verán sorprendentes paisajes.

Minimalism

The heaviest days of the semester are about to start, well, this is a heavy semester already. I've been wanting to do a great performance this semester and I'm signed in a pair of specific sucjects, so this is enhancing my passion for finance, I can spend hours talking and analysing finance topics, and I'm learning a lot.

 

Even I just finish a pair of big project, there are the last weeks of the semester and that's why I want to keep my style simple but cool, and as you know I have a dresscode in my work so for today I'm showing you this elegant, simple and kind-of-casual outfit without all the accesories in order to create something minimalistic.

 

Estan por comenzar los días mas pesados del semestre, bueno, este semestre ya lo es. He querido tener un gran desesmpeño este semestre, así que estoy inscrito en un par de materias específicas, y por eso mi pasión por las finanzas va en incremento, de verdad puedo pasar horas hablando y analizando temas de finanzas, y estoy aprendiendo muchísimo.

 

Aunque acabo de terminar con un plan de proyectos importantes, ya vienen las ultimas semanas del semestre y es por eso que quiero mantener mi estilo simple pero fresco, y como saben tengo un código de vestimenta en mi trabajo asi que para hoy les muestro este atuendo elgante, simple y un poco casual sin todos los accesorios para crear algo minimalista.

Young Orchestra

Last Sunday I attend to a Concert of the Young University Orchestra Eduardo Mata at Nezahualcoyotl Hall; first, the Hall is Amazing, esential on the cultural history of the UNAM, because it's has the best acoustic in LatinAmerica; second, the Orchestra was really stunning, they're young musicians and the play their instrument as experts.

 

The concert was one of the 4 concert in the celebration for the 70 year of the Orchestra, even so, it wasn't a formal event, so I wore a Simple outfit, keeping it casual with he blazer. I hope to be invited to the next concerts, it's art to my ears.

 

I can say for sure I love my University, it's not only a place to study, it is a place to live.

 

El pasado domingo asistí a in concierto de la Orquesta Juvenil Universitaria Eduardo Mata en la Sala Nezahualcoyotl; primero, La sala es asombrosa, esencial en la historia cultural de la UNAM, ya que es la sala con la mejor acustica en Latino América; segundo, la Orquesta estuvo impactante, soy jovenes y tocan como expertos.

 

El concierto fue el primero de cuatro en la celebración de los 70 años de la Orquesta, aún así, no fue un evento formal, así que utilice un atuendo simple, manteniendolo casual con el blazer. Espero ser invitado para los siguientes conciertos, el arte auditivo.

 

Puedo decir que Amo mi Universidad, no solo es un lugar para estudiar, es para vivirla.

Preppy School

Fashion is equals a lot of fun!!! The truth is my favorites outfits are those not planned I just chose clothe by clothe and at the end the right accesories, for this day at school I wear a basic outfit (jeans + white t-shirt) and my blazer shows up on my wardrove, I thought "It would look nice" and that's it!

For this semester I bought this gray bag, I'm a fan of gray bags, I don't like so much color on it, and it's perfect because it combines with everything, that's what I say "Fashion is equals a lot of fun", you have to play with your outfits and the accesories and enjoy the process ;)

 

La moda es divertida!!! La verdad es que mis outfits favoritos son los que no se planean solo escoges prenda por prenda y al final el accesorio correcto, para este día de escuela traía un atuendo basico (jeans + playera blanca) y mi blazer se mostró de repente en mi armario, pensé "Se vería bien" y asi fue!

 

Para éste semestre compré esta maleta gris, soy fan de las maletas y bolsas grises, sin tanto color, es perfecto porque combina con todo, por eso digo "La moda es divertida", Tienes que jugar con tus outfits y los accesorios disfrutando el proceso ;)

So Navy

Finally!! I watched The Avengers!

That was a great day, I spent the day doing lots of things and having so much fun:

I went to work in the morning so I had to wear formal clothes, I decided to release this blazer that my mommy gifted me, she allways know what I want, always knows what I like, I wore it with my cream pants and a blue shirt, a navy style that rarely I can chievement :)

In the afternoon I went with a friend to the cinema to see The Avengers, fantastic movie, plus I'm Marvel fan, imagine my face, it has been one of the few movies that I wanted to see and several times I had in line without tickets.

When the movie finish we went to Coffee Shop Company, delicious coffee! must confess that I do not drink coffee, It makes me move too fast (this time was no exeption) and a pocaccia by pure whim! we enjoyed all this while doing research of Finance's homework, which was quite fun to do it well, including great food, talk and laugh, my friend Ale are always lots of laugh xD

We take the opportunity to have fun and do homework ... oh! I thought that it couldn't be done

Vaya por fin pude ir a ver The Avengers!!!

Esa fue una gran tarde, me la pase de lujo y haciendo muchisimas cosas:

Como fui a trabajar por la mañana era forzoso ropa formal, así que decidí estrenar este saco que me regaló mi mamí, bastante acertada mi mami, siempre sabe lo que me gusta, lo convine con mi pantalon color crema y una camisa azul obteniendo un estilo navy que pocas veces logro :)

Por la tarde fui con una amiga al cine a ver The Avengers, buenísima la peli, ademas que soy fan de Marvel, ya imaginarán mi cara, sobretodo por que ha sido de las pocas pelis que he querido ir a ver y varias veces me quedaba en la fila sin boletos.

Saliendo nos fuimos a Cofee Shop Company, que rico café! eh de confesar que no tomo café por que me acelera demasiado (esta vez no fue la excepcion) y una pocaccia de jamón por el puro antojo! todo esto lo disfrutabamos mientras realizabamos una investigación para la materia de Finanzas, que por cierto fue bastante divertida hacerla así, entre deliciosa comida, platica y risas, con mi amiga Ale siempre son muchas risas xD

Si que aprovechamos para divertirnos y estudiar... oh! yo pense que eso no se podía hacer
